Our Venues & How To Get Here
Most of our concerts are held at the Sacred Heart Church Hall, 23 Cardinal Street in Mosman. Some street parking is available, and several bus routes stop nearby along Military Road.
Our annual Mosman Messiah concert is held in the excellent acoustics and ambience of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 62 Bradleys Head Road. Access is easy, with plenty of street parking, and buses that stop at the Church both ways (the 100 QVB/Wynyard to Taronga Zoo and 238 Balmoral to Taronga Zoo Wharf buses. About us
The Mosman Concert Series is organised and presented by Mosman Music Club which was founded in 1946, affiliated with the Federated Music Clubs of Australia NSW Council, Inc.
Initially formed to provide live music, performed in private Mosman residences for its own music lovers and those of its neighbouring suburbs, in those days, not long after the war, when live music was on the other side of the bridge, most of the not very numerous cars were still sitting on blocks, and evening concerts in Sydney Town Hall and the Conservatorium were an unattractive journey in cold trams and some distance by foot in colder streets.
Today, Mosman is a lower North Shore suburb, accessible from almost anywhere and Mosman Concert Series attracts audiences from distant areas – Bondi, Miranda, Epping, Avalon, Hornsby and wherever, to its superb series of six to eight concerts a year.
These are not just concerts of “something for everyone”. Every concert is superb in itself and every concert is for everyone. What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon, or two or three, or even nine!
Entry to the concerts is by program, available at the door, and includes free afternoon tea.
Tickets
Tickets are available at the door for every concert, payment by cash or card. We do not offer any pre-sale tickets.
Ticket prices for standard concerts are:
Adults $30, Concession $25, Students $10.
Ticket prices for our special end-of-year Mosman Messiah concert are:
Adults $40, Concession $30, Students $10.
Children are always free.
